MEALS ON WHEELS FOR PETS
We are now servicing nine Meals on Wheels agencies with food for pets of the frail, elderly, homebound and disabled citizens, including one for people with AIDS. For distributing pet food for this unique and very critical service, thanks to EAGLE PRODUCTS in Huntington and for covering deliveries in Islip Town, much appreciation to Deidre O’Brien.

HUMANE TRAPS
Humane traps are available on loan. Please call (516) 872-8053 for traps or to volunteer for this program. Judy Schenfeld, Chairperson, has been so wonderful at running this program solo and has been devoted and efficient for so long. Many animals have been helped because of her, they are very grateful and so we are.

SPAY/NEUTER PROGRAM
Janet Barrell administers our low-cost service with enthusiasm and dedication, aided by volunteers, Natasha & Noah Brenner, Cherri Dorris, Joan Essex, Sharon Feldmann, Helen Scher, Chris Seewagon, Robert Sowers and Carol & George Woolever, all of whom spend lots of time on the phone dispensing advice and certificates. Keep up the fantastic work!

ID TAGS
A service by our tireless President, Jackie Cook, in additional to all her other duties, obligations and aggravations essential to identifying pets if they wander or stray.

T-SHIRTS AND SWEATSHIRTS
Sharon Feldmann will gladly fill your orders! Please see Fund Raising for prices and procedures. Great job Sharon!

STREET FAIRS & BLESSING OF THE ANIMALS
Thanks to the PAWS volunteers for giving their time at our Fairs and Blessing of the Animals fund raisers. Medea Berkman, Lynn Feld, Sharon Feldmann, Beth Schwartz and Carol & George Woolever.

ADOPT-A-PET DAYS
Our gratitude to all who participate in this program coordinated by Jane Barbato, a crucial undertaking. She was assisted by: Joanne Anderson, Denise Clark, Sharon Feldmann, Katie Grilli-Robles, Hedy Kasten, Karen Magno, Irene Mc Auley, Ann Ringhauser and Robert Sowers.
