The Whole Cat and Kaboodle

UPDATE: Please see our below amazon wish list for our 17 warehouse cats. Pets4Luv and Pioneers for Animal Welfare Society Inc are again working together. We are trying to make temporary living quarters for some of them and we have found homes for four as of now but we still need food, litter etc. to take care of these cats. We still need homes for these sweet shy cats but we are creating temporary housing for them for now as they are losing their warehouse in a few weeks.

Link for our amazon wish list for these cats. Please help by purchasing an item or two which will be shipped directly for these cats. Thank you!

We are also in need of monetary donations to build a temporary housing for them which requires heat and a/c. Any donation will help us save these cats. Our original post below.

URGENT Foster/Homes Needed for 17 cats!

We have 17 cats in need of safe haven. These cats were living with a hoarder who had over 75 cats/kittens living in unimaginable conditions. The hoarder, although he meant well, was obviously not doing right by these cats. His friend, a true guardian angel, took in all the cats and kittens and had every one of them vetted and spayed/neutered. Sadly, not all 75 survived. He worked with his vet to help rehome all the kittens and many of the adult cats into wonderful homes. There are now 17 remaining. He built a cattery in the warehouse where he works and provided them with a wonderful and safe living environment. He has been caring for these beautiful cats for years at his own cost. He reached out to many groups, but no one has been able to help. His landlord was tolerant of the cats but now he is being forced to leave his office/warehouse and the cats have no place to go.

They are all between 2-7yrs old. Some are bonded, but most are not. They are not feral; they have never lived outdoors. They are shy but very sweet. They will require patience and love. They are all healthy, up to date on all and have been tested and chipped. If we do not find a safe haven for these cats, they will be euthanized.

If you have the heart and the home to help one or more of these poor souls, please contact adoptions@paws-li.org or go to our FB page or call 631 306 4616.
